Africa's first ladies urge education, health care

Summary: Some of Africa's first ladies met together to discuss problems happening in the continent.They focused on infectious diseases and the lack of education available to each country. They are very influencial for the community so they hope to make a change and try and show the population that education and healthcare are very important and to be deemed as a major priority.
"Developing partnerships with the education sector will give us significant mileage in preventing maternal and child mortality in the long term," Kenyan first lady Ida Odinga said.
